How does the Back to College Gift Card Offer work?

During the offer period, you may get $10 on a Publix® Reloadable Back-to-School Gift Card when you buy $30 in participating ConAgra Foods® products during August and September 2013 (please see offer Terms and Conditions for complete details).  There is a limit of (1) one $10 card per household.

Here are the easy steps to earn your Publix Reloadable Back-to-School Gift Card:

1.       Go to your local Publix store from 8/1/2013 through 9/30/2013 and purchase participating ConAgra Foods® products and KEEP YOUR RECEIPT(s).

2.       Take a picture of your receipt that includes all of the necessary detail (you can scan your receipt and create a pdf if you prefer).  Click Here for an example.  The image must contain:

    1. Publix store name
    2. The entire receipt showing store name printed at the top and the register transaction code at the bottom (a line of numbers starting with the date and extends from left to right). This is a Publix unique number. Reference the example and the circled line at the bottom of the receipt.  If you have more than one receipt, we will verify all of the numbers but please enter the number from the first receipt that you upload.
    3. All participating ConAgra Foods® products that you purchased (with the purchase price circled).  If you have more than one receipt, please add together all of the ConAgra Foods® products that you purchased and enter that total.

3.       Then go to backtocollege.apfco.com complete the requested information and follow the instructions to upload the image of your receipt(s).  If you have more than one receipt you will be prompted to upload them one at a time.

4.       Or, you may download a Mail-in-Form and mail-in your receipt.  If you don’t have access to a computer, you may complete and submit the form found at your Publix store or call 888-532-8999 and one may be mailed to you. 

Your submission will be reviewed within 24 hours (M-F) and we will notify you via email that your submission has been successfully processed.


What are the dates for this promotion?

Receipts must be dated between August 1, 2013 and September 30, 2013.  All submissions, whether by mail or online, must be completed on-line and/or postmarked by October 11th, 2013.


How do you know what items I bought qualify for this program? 

We need for you to circle the items that you believe are participating products.  And we will also review other visible purchases to be sure they are all included.  We know that the products appear in a number of different ways, however we will also be able to see the amount of the item and the register code associated with the product.  We are able to make a determination with this information.  If we have any questions about the products you have purchased, we will send an email to you for clarification or provide you with information that will help you to re-submit and qualify.


What needs to be included in the photo image of the receipt?

Please be sure that the following items are included in the image of your unique Publix store cash register receipt:

    1. Publix store name
    2. The entire receipt showing store name printed at the top and the register transaction code at the bottom (a line of numbers starting with the date and extends from left to right). This is a Publix unique number. I can’t upload an image of my receipt(s), may I participate or submit my receipt(s) another way?

Are you using a correct image type?  It must be a file image that is saved as a jpg, png or pdf.

If you can’t acquire an image that includes the necessary detail,  if your receipt image isn’t clear or if you just prefer to participate another way, please download a Mail-in-Form, complete it and send it along with your cash register receipt to:

May I submit receipts from any retailer?

This program is available exclusively at Publix.  Please be sure to submit only valid Publix store cash register receipts. 


Do I have to make the total purchase in one shopping trip?

Although you may make multiple trips to the store, if you are submitting online you will be prompted to enter one image at a time.  If you prefer to mail in your submission, please access the Mail-in Form, complete it and send it in along with all of your cash register receipts.


What if I have two or more receipts?

If you have multiple receipts and you are submitting online you will be prompted to enter one at image at a time.  If you prefer to mail in your submission, please access the Mail-in Form, complete it and send it in along with all of your cash register receipts.


How do I check the status of my submission and my gift card mailing?

You may check the status of your submission by visiting conagrafoods.rebateresearch.com.  Please note that it may take a few days for your submission to be updated into the look-up system.

When will I get my Publix gift card?

We are reviewing submissions daily and processing Publix gift card mailings promptly using the US Mail First Class service.  Please allow 6 – 8 weeks for delivery.  Orders may only ship to US addresses. See Terms and Conditions for complete details.


What do I do if I haven’t received my Publix gift card?

Please allow 6 – 8 weeks for delivery.  If you have not received your Publix gift card and the mailing date suggests it should have arrived, call us at 888-532-8999 Mon – Friday 9am – 5pm CT and we will assist you. Publix stores do not have access to information regarding your submission so please call 888-532-8999 for questions on the status of your card mailing.


Why can’t I upload the scan of my receipt from my mobile device?

Is the device you are using listed under ‘what type of mobile device may be used’?  If not, you will need to access the site through your desktop browser.  Are you using a correct image type?  Must be - jpg, png, pdf,

You can view the mobile site from any handheld device that has an internet browser and internet access capability. This data access may cost extra through your mobile phone provider. The mobile site supports the following devices and their default browsers:

Will you share my email address and information for other purposes?

If you have opted in to receive product information or other promotional information from ConAgra Foods and/or Publix then we may contact you from time to time. If you have opted in to participate in this program then we will send you periodic emails regarding this program.  You may opt-out of receiving emails at any time by clicking on unsubscribe in your email.  We promise we won’t share your email address or any other personal information with anyone else.


How do I participate in this offer if I don’t want to do it on-line?

If you don’t have access to the mail-in form, hand-print (pre-printed labels will not be accepted) your full name, mailing address, city, state, zip code, telephone number as well as the total amount of money spent on participating ConAgra Foods® products that you bought at Publix on a 3 ½” x 5” card, and send it along with your original cash register with the applicable purchases circled to the address above.  KEEP COPIES FOR YOUR RECORDS.
